Teen victim of attacker

A 15-year-old lad suffered eye injuries after he was assaulted near a Halesowen park last Saturday night.

The attacker poun-ced on the boy and punched him repeatedly about the head in Spies Lane, near Howley Grange Park, at 10.25pm.

He suffered a cut above his right eye, brusing and slight swelling in the incident which only ended when the victim's friend approached and the attacker ran off.

The offender was a white male, aged 18 to 19, six feet two and of medium build. He was wearing a waist length waterproof dark coat and a ring on his right hand.
