A 21-year old man had to be cut free from his car this morning (Monday) after ploughing head on into a lorry in Lye.
Motorist Raymond Ellis was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with neck and leg injuries following the High Street collision which happened at around 8.30am.
Stourbridge sub officer Adam Darby said: "It looks like the driver of the car was on the wrong side of the road when it happened.
"We had to pop the door off to free him because he was basically entombed in his car."
The lorry driver was unhurt but left in shock.
Rush hour traffic was held up while the High Street was cleared.
