Naked man runs amok in cemetery

A naked man covered in religious symbols damaged around 150 graves at Dudley's main cemetery on Saturday.

The man, in his 20s and from Lichfield, was arrested at the Dudley Cemetary in Stourbridge Road at midday on Saturday.

He was treated for a cut to the leg before being sectioned and sent to St George's mental care unit in Stafford.

DI Jamie Evans said: "We've no idea why he chose to come here and do what he did but basically he can't be held accountable for his actions.

"He was clearly labouring under some mental problems."
