Fancy Life in a Tin?
From the archive, first published Monday 4th Mar 2002.
Funky Stourbridge five-piece Life In A Tin are looking for a singer with a voice to match their powerful sound.
The lads, who are big fans of the James Taylor Quartet and James Brown, need someone with enough energy and attitude to front their lively set.
And hopefuls will have to be ready to put in some serious rehearsal time as the band has already booked a mini tour to Denmark following on from successful instrumental gigs in France.
Band members, guitarist Warren Evans, bass player Jon Robinson and drummer John Garratt, formed as a three-piece a year ago before being joined by sax player Tildi Horton.
On their return from France the band decided to add another member to the brass section in Daniel Clarke, but finding a singer is still proving to be difficult.
Anyone interested in becoming Life In A Tin's singer can contact Warren Evans on 07711046711.
Male and female singers will be considered.
