Teen hit in face by intruders

A Halesowen teenager was hit in the face with a stick when he disturbed two intruders in his garden.

The 17-year-old returned home to his house in Instone Road at 10.30pm on Saturday ands saw two figures in the garden.

He went out to investigate and was struck in the face with the stick, although there were no signs of the house being searched.

The first offender was an Afro-Caribbean man, around six feet tall, skinny build in his early 20s wearing a padded black jacket and dark trousers.

The second was a white man, five feet eight inches tall with thin build and dark clothing.
