The Autumn Exhibition in the Gallery of the Crystal Glass Centre, Audnam, from October 9 to 24 was once again successful.
Initially 79 pictures were hung, but some were supplemented as around 20% of pictures were sold. Again there was a variety of styles, subjects and media displayed and Lillian Goodwin also entered 3 sculptures.
The Official Opening took place on October 10 at 2 pm when Rob Perry RBSA, a local artist who is also internationally famous, gave an opening address which was very encouraging to members and exhibitors.
Many thanks to him adding a very special touch to the opening which was very well attended by members, friends, guests and visitors.
Thanks also to all who helped in the organisation of the exhibition, which was viewed by many visitors throughout the fortnight.
Many favourable comments were entered in the visitors book.
Our next meeting at Kingswinford Community Centre will be on Friday November 28 2003 at 7.30pm and will be the AGM with afterwards, an `American Supper' and social evening.
This proved to be a very enjoyable event last year, which gave everyone who attended a chance to socialise and chat to friends.
We look forward to seeing many members and friends. Visitors who would like to join the society will also be welcome.
