Artistic flair in the frame

Art lovers can drop into Hagley Art Club's annual exhibition this weekend.

The group, which has 49 members, will show 168 framed pictures at Hagley Community Centre.

The event, which is open from 7pm until 9pm on Friday (November 21) and from 10am until 4pm on Saturday (November 22) and Sunday (November 23), will be officially opened by Zoe Curnow, head of art at Haybridge High School.

Member Anne Garth said: "The paintings are all new works drawn by club artists and would make great Christmas presents."
