Appeal update

TWINKLE-TOES will be dancing their way to cash for critical care when an Amblecote woman holds a fundraising show.
Alison Hill is organising the dance in aid of LifeSavers and already there is feverish interest for the event on January 17.
We have already featured Alison earlier on in our campaign when she told us how the doctors and nurses on critical care saved her life.
Alison had to go through the trauma of an emergency Caesarean after developing a rare complication during pregnancy which caused her liver and kidneys to pack up.
And the proud mum knows without the skill of the surgeons she would not be here today to cherish her bouncing baby Kaitlyn.
Now she is battling back to full strength Alison - who runs dance classes at Sebright First School in Cookley - can't wait to do her bit for the charity.
She said: "I hope the show will be packed out, we haven't yet decided on the price of tickets but whatever we charge will all go to LifeSavers.
"Without a shadow of a doubt the unit saved my life so I want to raise lots of money."

THE finishing touches are being put to a perfectly crafted bear which will be auctioned from December 6 in aid of the appeal.
Multi-talented Michelle Picken from Wordsley has been busy working on the unique teddy which will go to the highest bidder.
To be in with a chance of bagging the bear you need to log on to the e-bay website for a week from December 6.
And we hope people will raise the stakes as the higher the bid the more we pocket for patients on critical care.
