Clock makes us a laughing stock

I WONDER if the people of Stourbridge realise the carbuncle of a clock that has been put in the Crown Centre has cost £35,000 of rate payers' money.
It is supposed to have come out of the Arts Council money but that still comes out of the rates at the end of the day.
If Dudley Council has that much cash to splash about why don't they spend it on the gardens around the town - replant them and put extra hanging baskets everywhere.
Try to make it a pleasure to come shopping in Stourbridge instead of making it a laughing stock with that clock.
No doubt the yobs of the town will enjoy climbing up it and running it.
People of Stourbridge work hard to pay ever-increasing rates. I for one object to the rate money paying for this stupid clock.
